Welcome to Marks Family Butchers, Ashbourne’s award-winning family butchers. We are situated just off the main Shawcroft carpark in the centre of Ashbourne.
We are Danny and Kate, and we took over Marks Family Butchers in 2018 and, with several family members and a loyal staff are committed to supplying the highest quality produce for our customers.
Danny has been a butcher since leaving school at 16, working his apprenticeship and gaining experience in shops around Belper in Derbyshire, before joining Marks in 2005.
His philosophy is to give every customer exactly what they want and loves a challenge that allows him to show his butchery skills.
We are lucky to have a wonderful team that enable us to serve quality produce coupled with excellent customer service and of course, a smile. 😊
